越来越… 与 越…越…
两个比较级连用表示递进。
比较级 + and + 比较级；the + 比较级, the + 比较级
要点
- 「越来越……」用「比较级 + and + 比较级」。
- 多音节词用「more and more + 原级」。
- 「越……越……」用「the + 比较级, the + 比较级」。
- 后半句常用将来时，也可以省略主语和谓语。
- 「比较级 + and + 比较级」是同一个形容词重复：better and better、hotter and hotter、more and more beautiful。
- 「the + 比较级, the + 比较级」里前后两句都可省主谓，只剩两个比较级：The sooner, the better.（越快越好）
- 表"越来越多…"时更常见的是 more and more + 名词：more and more people（越来越多的人）。
- 前半句说条件时动词用现在时表将来（The more you read, the more you know），别写成 will read。

天气越来越冷。

英语变得越来越重要。
The more you read, the more you know.
你读得越多，知道得就越多。

易错提示
- 单音节用 colder and colder，多音节用 more and more important。
- the + 比较级 那两句里，the 不是冠词，别漏掉。
- the 在这里不是冠词，读起来是"越…那…就越…那"，两句里各带一个 the，一个都不能漏。
- 后半句不能再补 more —— 写 the more you know，不要写 the more know you；语序仍是陈述语序。
