读法和介词搭配各不相同。
in 2026／on May 4th／at seven
要点
- 年份用 in：in 2010。
- 具体某一天用 on：on May 4th。
- 钟点用 at：at seven、at 8 o'clock。
- 询问时刻用 What time…
- in the morning、in the evening 是泛指，一锁定到具体某天的上午就换 on：on a Monday morning ／ on the morning of May 4th；而 at night、at noon、at midnight 一律用 at。
- 年份两个两个数：1998 读 nineteen ninety-eight、2026 读 twenty twenty-six，整千读 two thousand，2001 读 two thousand and one。
- 世纪与年代是 in the：in the twelfth century、in the 1990s（读 the nineteen nineties）；单说某一年只写 in 2026，中间不插 the。
- 日期有两种写法：英式 4 May 2026（读 the fourth of May）、美式 May 4, 2026（读 May the fourth）—— 书写顺序不同，介词都还是 on。

易错提示
- 年份读法：2010 读 twenty ten，2000 读 two thousand。
- 日期用序数词书写：May 4th 读作 May the fourth。
- 过几分用 past、差几分用 to：half past seven（七点半）、a quarter to eight（七点四十五）；half 只配 past，不说 half to seven。
- 星期本身也用 on（on Monday、on Friday afternoon），但"早上"单独说时归 in（in the morning）—— 同一天里两个词各管各的介词。
