so / such 辨析
so 修饰形容词或副词，such 修饰名词（短语），两者都能引出结果状语从句。
so + adj ／ so + adj + a/an + 单数名词 ／ such + (a/an) + adj + 名词
要点
- so 后只接形容词或副词，不接名词：so kind，so quickly，so beautiful。
- such 后接名词（名词前可带形容词）：such nice weather，such a kind girl。
- 「so + adj + a/an + 单数可数名词」与「such + a/an + adj + 单数可数名词」等价：so fine a day = such a fine day。
- 名词前有 many / much / few / little（表「少」）时只能用 so：so many people，so much water，so few chances。
- so / such … that … 都能引出结果句：It was such a hot day that we stayed inside.
- 感叹句走同一套分工：名词前用 What + (a/an) + adj + 名词，只有形容词副词用 How + adj / adv：What a fine day! ／ How fine the day is!
- 另外两个 so：do so 代替前面说过的动作（He asked me to wait and I did so.）；or so 表「左右」（twenty years or so）。

It was such a fine day that we went out for a walk.
天气这么好，我们出去散步了。
He is so young a boy that he can't go to school.

易错提示
- 看后面有没有名词：有名词用 such，只有形容词或副词用 so。
- little 表「少」时用 so（so little time），表「小」时用 such（such a little dog）。
- such 后面必须带着名词一起走，光有 such + 形容词不成结构：such beautiful ❌ → such a beautiful place。
