a boring book(令人厌烦的书)/ a bored boy(感到无聊的男孩)
- -ing 结尾的词也有不在"令人 / 感到"这一组里的:outstanding(杰出的)、promising(有前途的)、leading(领先的)—— 它们早就只是形容词,找不出"感到…"
- 加强语气分两条路:情感类 -ed 前能用 very(very bored),但"广为人知、深受赞赏"这一类要换 well / much:well known、much admired —— very known、very admired 都不成。
例句
I think news is boring.
I read an interesting book.
I am excited about the trip.
The children were excited about the show.
The retired teacher still visits the school.
Her brother is a promising singer, and their show was outstanding.
- be interested in 是固定搭配,in 不能换成别的介词。
- 分词当形容词用就更像形容词,比较级走 more / most:more interesting、the most excited —— 别去造 interestinger。
