不定冠词 a / an
泛指「一个」，选 a 还是 an 看读音不看字母。

要点
- a / an 只用在单数可数名词前，表示「一个」。
- 判断标准是下一个词读音的第一个音，不是第一个字母。
- an hour（h 不发音）、a university（u 发 /juː/）最容易选错。
- 第一次提到某事物用 a / an，再次提到改用 the。
- a / an 里的"一"弱到几乎听不见，它说的是"某一个"而不是数目；真要数数才用 one：I have a brother（有个兄弟）／ I have only one brother（只有一个兄弟）。
- 单数可数名词不许光着出现在句子里：前面要么挂 a / an / the，要么挂 my / this 这类限定词，要么整个改成复数 —— He is a student，不说 He is student。
- a / an 还占着"每一"和一批固定说法的位置：twice a week（一周两次）、three times a day、have a cold、have a rest —— 这些位置换成 the，句子就不是那个意思了。

易错提示
- an hour / a university / an honest boy / a one-eyed dog —— 看读音不看字母。
- 别写成 a apple 或 an book。
- 冠词跟着紧跟它的那个词的读音走，不是跟着后面的名词：an old lamp 但 a big lamp —— 形容词一插进来，a / an 就得改判形容词的头一个音。
- 不可数名词前没有 a：a water、a news、a advice 都不成立，要数量就补量词 a glass of water、a piece of news —— 中文"一个水、一条新闻"直译过来必错。
